Third Song ○ [Video]
[When the screen turns on, it's to a very somber and serious-looking Masato. Not to say he doesn't ALWAYS look serious, but... well, it's more serious than usual.]
I... wanted to apologize to anyone I may have encountered while... incapacitated, at the prom this past weekend. I'm sure I wasn't the only one, but I deeply regret having behaved as I did, and for anyone I may have burdened or bothered, as I...
I don't quite... remember... what happened.
[He bows his head to the gear, then reaches over to turn it off. But before his hand can reach for the off switch, there's a sudden crash behind him. Masato tries to hurry and turn it off but just abandons it on the chair, where it's propped at just an angle to see his hotel room, and more specifically, the little egg in a light green cloth... egg-cosy of sorts? Along with various scraps of fabric and a small sewing kit with threads and pin cushion scattered on the floor.]
--Ah! The egg!
[His Karrablast is standing there, looking a little startled and entertained by his own mess. Masato just hurries over to scoop up the egg, examining it for any cracks. But it seems like it was just a gentle fall. There's an audible sigh of relief before Masato just picks it up, deciding to carry it back over to the couch with him... Only to notice that his gear never turned off. Then, deciding to just pretend none of this happened, he closes it completely to properly end the termination. You didn't see sewing stuff okay.]

I did, though I'm sure I missed a lot of them as well since there were so many people.

When you say it like that though it just sounds like school. [ being at school from 7 AM until 9 PM on a good day...why does he miss this? ]
[ video ]
[Well, his were, mostly. But he also had friends at this one.]

What was your school like? [ this is such a wonderfully normal conversation. he'd almost forget that he's in pokemon world. ]

My school... I attended a performing arts academy. If you're successful at the academy, the principal, a retired celebrity himself, licenses you under his agency. But... I'm only in attendance for a year, unless I can convince my father to allow me to attend longer. [He looks rather defeated at this fact.]

I'm the only son in my family, so I can understand the pressure a little. [ except he doesn't really have a dream of his own. that Masato is trying to do something for himself, Joonhee really admires that. ]
You're really working hard for your dream, I think it's incredible. I hope you're able to get your father to understand.
