[The gear clatters on the moment Masato gasps aloud, hand shooting out and... accidentally launching launching the gear clear across his hotel room. There's heavy breathing, along with a panicked squeak from the Deerling that had been sitting over there. She taps her nose curiously at the gear once before just crossing the room, moving over to where Masato is slowly sitting up.

Even through the darkness, his moves are rather erratic and panicked, and he just reaches over, pulling the blanket a little closer. With a sigh, he bows his head and just takes a few deep breaths. The pokémon hurries to his side, and he actually takes a good minute or two of just watching her before he gingerly reaches out to rub her ears.]

Another one... I apologize for spooking you, Sonata.

[As he leans over, he notices the blink of the gear in the corner and just sighs. Moving back from the pokémon, he climbs out of bed and approaches it, purposefully aiming it at the floor as he turns the transmission off. You saw nothing.]

[Hi this is Keiko when nightmares make her manners fail sorry.]

[Manners can take a backseat when it's nightmare-night. Masato just sighs; guess he can't pretend it's all sunshine and roses.]

Unfortunately... Has it been happening to multiple individuals?

[Welp. You can say that she saw nothing, but a girl, who's seen nightmares every day back home and sometimes even here...? Yup, it doesn't really work on her.]

[Oh... she wasn't supposed to see that. But now that she has, he's sure there's no way to avoid the conversation. There's a long moment of hesitation before he just looks down.]

[She shrugs a bit wishing she could be more help with that.]

[She stays calm. No pushing, though if he'll say no, then -- well, then she might word it a bit differently.]

[But he likes bottling them up. It keeps people from worrying about him and lets him refrain from being a burden on others.

It is. Hopefully, this will be the last one for anyone that has had to experience them.

I'd like to hope so. But I do wonder what's causing them... It may be the weather.

[But it's bad to bottle them up, says her experience of bottling everything up to the point where everything was horrible.

[Moment later he will hear a few silent knocks on his door.]

The weather? I don't quite understand how the two relate.

It's just a figure of expression. With the weather changing, things always tend to take a turn for the better or worse.

I wouldn't be surprised if this world took that literally.

[But bottling things up is what he does. Masato's immediately actually kind of nervous, despite being quite tired, so he makes up his bed and starts heating water in the coffee maker for tea so he can at least pretend to be a good host. Tea helps with everything. His Deerling has returned to her little nesting spot on a little cushion on the floor, curled around a little pokéball carrying case.

Once he hears the knock, he walks over and opens it.]

...I'm sorry to be such a bother, Miss Mitsuki. It's quite late.

[She offers an angelic smile and a head shake.]

You're never a bother, and you can drop the Miss. Obviously I was awake too. [For reasons, mostly related to her own (extremely normal by now) nightmares and stuff.] May I come in?

[Guess who woke up? She sounds a bit sleepy but she's trying to sound like she's very awake.]

Hijirikawa-san?

[He's just used to being polite. But he quickly opens the door further and stands back, nodding.]

If you'd like, I've got some tea... The coffee maker is brewing the water, but it hasn't been used for actual coffee. [So if you'd like some tea, Mitsuki... Please want tea, he wants to distract himself for a little while.]

[Oh no why.]

It's nothing, Nanami-san... You should sleep; it's late.

Are you ok? [Casually ignores that.]

I'll be fine. You don't need to worry.

Are you sure? [TOO BAD, SHE'S WORRYING.]

[Nothing wrong with being polite~. But she's not used to hearing it from friends. or from people who have sung love songs to her.

She'll walk in, all calm and collected, though this is actually one of the first time's when she has walked into a boy's (hotel) room. Usually they've walked into hers, there's mostly also been only one boy doing that.

Glance over shoulder with a soft smile on her face.]

Tea sounds great, thank you. [As long as he doesn't burn his fingers with it.

And now she's looking around like she's going to sit onto the floor unless there are better options.]

[There's a knock on the door and Ren peeks in with a tea cup in his hand.]
