Ah... I had a question. For those who tend to celebrate the holidays...

Where I'm from, in Japan... it's more customary for women to give gifts to men. But I've heard things about other cultures where men give gifts to women on this day regardless.

I can't speak for other cultures, but in mine everyone gave everyone gifts on Valentine's. So it would be perfectly appropriate. As for good gifts, well...what does she like? Chocolates and roses are pretty traditional if you're looking for something like that, but it's always best to give someone something personal.
