[The gear clatters on the moment Masato gasps aloud, hand shooting out and... accidentally launching launching the gear clear across his hotel room. There's heavy breathing, along with a panicked squeak from the Deerling that had been sitting over there. She taps her nose curiously at the gear once before just crossing the room, moving over to where Masato is slowly sitting up.

Even through the darkness, his moves are rather erratic and panicked, and he just reaches over, pulling the blanket a little closer. With a sigh, he bows his head and just takes a few deep breaths. The pokémon hurries to his side, and he actually takes a good minute or two of just watching her before he gingerly reaches out to rub her ears.]

Another one... I apologize for spooking you, Sonata.

[As he leans over, he notices the blink of the gear in the corner and just sighs. Moving back from the pokémon, he climbs out of bed and approaches it, purposefully aiming it at the floor as he turns the transmission off. You saw nothing.]

[A falsetto... It wasn't Masato's typical range at all, but he has tried it. Frowning, he brings the bottle to his lips and takes a shot.]

My typical range is much lower, mind you.

Hmm... Never have I ever gone on a rollercoaster.

Really? Heh. I would've thought that something you do all the time at music school or whatever.

[He shrugs. But then takes a shot, because yeah. He's been on a lot of rollercoasters in his life.]

You ought to sing for me, show me first hand your range. And also, never have I ever went shopping for clothes that fit my lithe form.

[He might be teasing now. Maybe.]

Ah... no, we don't have a nearby amusement park. I think there's one around an hour or so away from the school, but I've never been.

[The lithe comment makes him blush a little, and he looks away, idly fiddling with the bottle. Now he's just embarrassed for knowing that word.]

I can sing for you sometime if you'd like. I know Jinguji--he's someone I know from school--he wants us to perform another concert here. I don't have too many songs that go throughout my entire range, though.

[What a damn kawaii blush. It just makes him grin a little wider. Bro is a troll, so Masato ought to get used to it. But hey, he teases because he cares, not because he's trying to be an ass. If he were being an ass, Masato would know it.]

Hey, if you do you better tell me. I'll be front row, center stage. Or you could go ahead and sing for me now, if you're drunk enough not to be embarrassed by it.

[Dis jerk. 8( But Masato just pretends he wasn't embarrassed by that and continues to talk as though everything's normal. HE'LL PRETEND TO BE USED TO IT.] I'll let you know. Our last concert was for charity; I wouldn't be surprised if this one was too.

[He looks completely undisturbed by this suggestion.] But I don't believe I'm drunk, but I could sing if you'd like me to. So long as it's not too ridiculous of a song.
